Reunion
The 22nd ANNUAL FART REUNION is now
history. The event was held on March 4 and 5, 2011 in
Maitland, Florida at the Bahia Shrine where according to
everyone who attended, the event was possibly the very best
ever. The attendance hovered around 200 which was the CUTOFF
number due to Florida fire laws. The food was really
outrageous and everyone pigged out.
TOM MUNGEER, President of NYSP PBA spoke
about what our old job looks like now after all the problems
and changes in Superintendents. He was well received. Once
again several thousands in gifts were raffled off to the
attendees and many went home really pleased with the gifts
they had won.
The 50/50 reached a new record for sales.
Some $1200.00 in tickets were sold and one person went home
$600.00 richer. WOW, did it become dead silent while the
winning number was read.
The LADIES ONLY RAFFLE was once again a
huge hit with our female attendees. We will retain that
exclusive raffle as part of our next REUNION.
The Friday evening affair at the HOMEWOOD
SUITES was also well attended with over 100 in attendance.
No one went away hungry.
Good news. We were once again able to hold
the line on prices for the REUNION due to be held on March
2nd and 3rd of 2012 at the same location. This makes 7 years
in a row that we have been able to keep the price the same.
If you did not attend this past REUNION
you missed a great time. Do not let it happen again. Be
prepared to get your reservations in early as the cap on the
number attending is 200 due to the fire laws. The REUNION
fills up quickly as do the hotel accommodations. Talk to
your friends and put a table or two together for the next
REUNION. See you there.
